Replacement 50-tooth steel spur for the XO-1

This Module 1.0, straight-cut 50-tooth steel spur is made for TRAXXAS XO-1 chassis and comes as one unit. It features hardened steel construction, a black finish and a laser-engraved tooth count so you can identify the gear quickly when preparing for a run.

As a direct replacement for the original large spur, it forms the main drive ratio and is suited to predictable engagement for on-road, high-speed layouts. Match it with an M1.0 pinion for correct engagement, set even minimal backlash, and ensure the gearbox bearings are in good condition to support the hardened gear.

Intended solely for model RC applications on the XO-1 platform and not for real vehicles.

This spur is specified for the XO-1. It may fit other models that use an M1.0 50T spur with the same gearbox layout, but always confirm fit and mesh before final assembly.
Ensure accurate pinion alignment, replace worn bearings, maintain correct backlash and avoid contaminated grease to keep wear to a minimum with a hardened-steel gear.
Shimming is only necessary if you find sideplay or misalignment in the gearbox; otherwise install with the standard spacing and confirm mesh visually.
You do not have to change the pinion unless you want a different final ratio; ensure any pinion used is M1.0 and check engagement before running at speed.
