TRF 416 Internal Spring Details

The 3Racing spring is a direct-replacement internal spring for the TRF 416 differential assembly, designed to set the initial preload that influences torque distribution across the axle.

Installation follows normal TRF 416 diff service steps: open the diff case, replace the OEM spring with the 416-10C component, then reassemble with the original shims and bearings. Only basic RC tools are necessary.

In setup work the spring defines baseline preload ahead of diff oil and clutch plate choices. Increasing spring rate raises preload for firmer engagement and reduced slip, while a lower rate allows more differential movement. Test changes progressively on the circuit to dial in turn-in, grip and throttle control.
