This graphite front shock tower is produced as a hop-up for the TAMIYA TRF 416 chassis. The 416-15/WO provides increased front rigidity and alternate shock eyelet positions to refine on-road suspension response.
Fitting is done with the existing TRF 416 mounting points and hardware, so no chassis modifications are necessary. The only changes to the car are the front material stiffness and the extra mounting choices available for the shocks.
For tuning, a graphite tower moves the flex balance forward, which can sharpen turn-in and change how the car reacts to sudden inputs. Make gradual adjustments to shock settings and recheck alignment and ride height after mounting the tower to ensure consistent handling lap after lap.
