This rear graphite shock tower is an aftermarket upgrade for the TAMIYA TRF 416 chassis, supplied under part number 416-16/WO. It replaces the original rear tower to deliver a firmer anchorage for rear shocks and upper links, keeping the focus on chassis setup and suspension feedback.

Installation is straightforward using the TRF 416 rear bulkhead's existing mounting holes; the tower fits the same screw points as the factory part and stacks with the current spacers and hardware. No extra fittings are included, so keep the TRF 416 original screws for refit.

As a tuning part the graphite tower reduces flex at the shock and linkage mounts compared with more flexible stock towers, which helps achieve clearer damping response and more consistent roll behaviour without altering main chassis dimensions.
