The approach is straightforward: fit the thinner or thicker plate to explore front grip and balance changes across different track conditions. The plates are sized to sit on the TRF421 bulkhead mounting points for quick between-run swaps.

Mounting advice and tuning procedure

Use the TRF421's existing bulkhead fasteners to fit the replacement plate; remove the original brace, mount the chosen thickness, and tighten to the vehicle's standard torque. The 1mm plate reduces front stiffness for added compliance, while the 2mm plate raises rigidity for crisper steering.
