The Flak 37 was a staple of German anti-aircraft defences in WWII, effective against low-level threats and typically fielded in batteries of nine to twelve guns. It was adaptable to multiple platforms including railcars, ships, U-boats and fortified Flak towers, with over 4,211 units recorded by August 1944.
The Trumpeter 1/35 rendition measures 159 mm in length and 76.8 mm across, featuring 133 plastic parts across five sprues to recreate the original proportions faithfully for display or diorama use.
The kit supplies two photo-etched pieces for finer detail. No metal or resin upgrades are supplied, leaving room for modellers to fit aftermarket parts or to customise the finish as desired.
