The IT-1 was an unusual Soviet experiment, and Trumpeter's 1/35 kit recreates this missile-armed tank built on a T-62 hull. Fitted with 3M7 Drakon missiles, it served only briefly between 1968 and 1970 because of issues such as a large deadzone and limited ammunition capacity. The model presents a faithful study piece for modellers interested in Cold War armour oddities.
