Between November 1943 and June 1944 BALTIMORE was in fact a unit related to fire assistance and addressing forces through the operations in the Southeast Asia. In July 1944, she embarked President Roosevelt and his party and steamed to Pearl Harbor. Returning to the war area in November 1944, she happen assigned towards 3rd Fleet. After the cessation of hostilities BALTIMORE served as a unit regarding "Magic Carpet" fleet after which as some the naval career force in Japan BALTIMORE received nine battle superstars on her solution to the Pacific during World War II.
