Trumpeter 05756 1/700 Scale Model of SS John W. Brown

The SS John W. Brown is a surviving Liberty ship with a notable wartime record, completing 13 voyages to the Persian Gulf and Mediterranean. She was involved in the Anzio landings and the August 1944 Operation Dragoon invasion of southern France, during which the US Navy Armed Guard aboard the ship shot down an enemy aircraft. After hostilities the vessel assisted in European reconstruction and returned American servicemen to the United States.
