The Z-28 was a Type 1936A German destroyer commissioned on August 9, 1941, notable as a flotilla leader with a distinctive armament of four single 15cm guns and an expanded aft deck house for extra personnel. The ship was sunk by British bombers on March 3, 1945, in the Baltic Sea.
Trumpeter's 1/700 kit offers both waterline and full-hull builds. It makes use of slide-moulded upper and lower hull components and includes photo-etched details for parts such as the mast and stand, helping achieve crisp scale detail in the completed model.
