Reinforced Steering Tie Rod for TT-02

This steering tie rod kit is an aftermarket aluminium linkage tailored for the TAMIYA TT02 RC chassis, supplied as a single upgrade set. It is intended for tuners and racers who want a stiffer steering link than the original plastic item.

As a direct steering component, the tie rod affects toe adjustments and steering consistency. An alloy replacement reduces flex under load, providing a firmer, more consistent steering response during setup changes and on-track tuning.

Fitment requires the same ball studs and thread pitch as the TT-02 steering assembly and servo saver. Installation is straightforward using normal workshop tools and does not require changes to your electronics, but verify ball cup seating and free articulation after fitting.

Tuning guidance: lock in toe angles more reliably during setup trials and check for binding at extreme lock. Routine inspections and light lubrication of pivots will help maintain smooth steering without altering geometry.

It is designed for TT-02 steering arrangements; always double-check the steering linkage and ball stud positions on your specific kit before fitting.
Yes, the part uses the common thread pitch used in TT-02 steering links, but confirm with your existing components to ensure correct fitment.
Inspect rod ends and ball cups regularly, especially after hard runs, and apply light lubrication to metal contact points to prevent wear.
