This RC-scale centre bearing mount is compatible with Turbulence D3 helicopters. The component secures the centre bearing that supports the main drivetrain stack and helps maintain transmission alignment during operation and servicing.
Installation is normally completed during a mid-frame or main-shaft service when bearings are inspected and replaced if required. The holder's mechanical purpose is to locate the bearing, prevent axial movement, and provide a defined mounting face so the main and tail drive elements remain concentric.
When fitting the part, verify the bearing is fully seated and axial clearance is correct prior to final assembly, ensure retaining screws are tightened to appropriate torque without overdoing it, and check the driveline for smooth rotation after reassembly. Correct bearing placement can reduce play and improve consistency in tail and main drive response when tuning.
