Balance connector designed for 4S LiPo packs

The TY1 HS3911 is an adapter that routes the balance taps of a 4S 14.8V LiPo pack into a charger's 5-pin balance socket, enabling per-cell monitoring and balancing. It is intended for use with chargers that accept separate balance leads and cannot substitute for the pack's main charging leads or protection circuits.

When connecting, power off the charger, attach the adaptor to the battery balance plug, and then insert the adaptor into the charger. Ensure the charger is selected for LiPo chemistry and set to 4S before charging. The adaptor simply provides access to the balance wires for the charger to monitor and equalise cell voltages.

If a cell shows an abnormal voltage during checks, stop and investigate the battery before attempting further balance charging. Regular visual checks of pins and housings help avoid misreads and poor contact during charging tasks.
