VW Beetle 1966 clear body shell for Mini-Z chassis

The Kyosho MZN240 is supplied as an unpainted Mini-Z scale body capturing the 1966 VW Beetle silhouette, with matching rims included. It is provided as a plain shell for finishing and fitting rather than a completed display model.

Built to align with Mini-Z series mounting arrangements, this shell will commonly require trimming of the standard body tabs and wheel arches to match particular Mini-Z variants and wheel offsets; minor fitting work is expected when mixing bodies and chassis types.

Fitting guideline: always dry-fit the body to the Mini-Z chassis first, mark mounting and clearance points, and use body clips or the chassis's original mount positions. Select paints and adhesives specified for RC clear bodies to preserve flexibility and fine detail during finishing.

This set provides a practical foundation for scale appearance upgrades and chassis setup on Mini-Z builds, enabling custom paint, decal application and wheel/stance adjustments.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It adheres to common Mini-Z mounting geometry but variations exist between specific Mini-Z models; anticipate light trimming or repositioning for perfect alignment.
Rims are supplied, but tyre and wheel combinations vary. Check rim width and centre bore against your chosen tyres and wheel hubs before final fitting.
No. The shell is unpainted white and intended to be finished by the modeller using suitable clear-body paints and decals.
Mark mounting points while the shell is dry-fitted, cut gradually and re-test frequently to avoid over-trimming. Smooth cut edges and check wheel clearance at full lock and suspension travel.
