This aluminium servo saver plus tie rod kit is an aftermarket upgrade crafted for the Wild Willy 2 WR-02 chassis. It helps protect the servo from sudden shocks while delivering a more consistent steering feel for technical driving and setup work.

Upgrading from plastic to aluminium parts reduces flex and improves component longevity. The stiffer assembly assists servo centring and gives a steadier steering response when making trim or endpoint adjustments. The 25T reference identifies the matching servo spline for higher torque servo horns.

Installation follows standard WR-02 linkage procedures: remove the factory saver and link, fit the aluminium saver to the 25T servo horn spline, and attach the tie rod to the saver arm and steering knuckle. Check the steering arc for free movement and correct preload before final torqueing of fasteners.

When tuning, pair the aluminium saver with a hi-torque servo to gain clearer feedback for fine adjustments. The reduced slop from the aluminium link improves the impact of small trim changes; ensure steering geometry and clearances are checked to avoid adding too much rigidity.
