This aluminium hi-torque servo saver is an aftermarket steering upgrade for the Wild Willy 2 WR-02 chassis, supplied as a single set with model code WW2025STM. It uses a machined aluminium housing combined with a steel tie rod to replace the original saver and give a firmer steering linkage.
The device helps isolate impact forces from the servo while keeping mechanical centring intact. The 25T designation denotes the spline interface, and the steel tie rod provides a straightforward way to tune steering geometry.
Fitting is intended to be simple for anyone used to working on WR-02 steering: remove the factory saver, fit the aluminium body onto the servo spline, secure it and reconnect the tie rod. Once fitted, confirm spline engagement and centre the steering, then adjust tie rod length to correct wheel alignment.
Setup note: the stiffer aluminium and steel tie rod reduce flex and can sharpen steering response, but they can also transmit more feedback to the servo; recalibrate steering trim and end points after installation to ensure reliable operation.
