The WW2160ST turnbuckle kit is an aftermarket linkage upgrade for the TAMIYA Wild Willy 2 WR-02 platform, supplied as a set of six spring-steel anti-thread turnbuckles. These are aimed at reducing link loosening caused by vibration and continuous steering inputs.
Installed on the WR-02, the turnbuckles secure steering and suspension linkages and let you make predictable toe, camber or ride-height adjustments. Spring-steel gives enough resilience to keep threads engaged while offering a small flex to resist backing out under impacts and repeated loads.
Installation follows standard link replacement practice: remove existing threaded links or rod ends, match length and thread pitch, fit the turnbuckles and lock each end, then confirm there is full steering and suspension travel without binding. When handling spring-steel parts, protect threads with soft tools or tape to avoid marks.
Maintenance tips: lock in minor trim changes that would otherwise drift, check thread engagement after your first run, and re-seat or tighten as part of routine checks. Use the set to stabilise link settings rather than to fundamentally alter WR-02 geometry.
