Precision X4F motor mount focused on chassis symmetry

The XRAY 303754-C motor mount integrates motor and layshaft supports into a single precision-machined unit along the chassis centre line to maintain symmetry and predictable balance. The motor is mounted forward of the layshaft while a pressed-in steel layshaft axle secures alignment under load.

Locator pins of 3mm diameter hold the assembly even when only one mounting screw is installed, reducing movement from impacts without adding extra fasteners. The upper face is machined with holes that correspond to XRAY top deck screws so the deck mounts flat and helps deliver repeatable flex response.

For practical tuning the design offers a top-access eccentric bulkhead insert so gear mesh can be altered from above without removing the full mount. Lower holes are countersunk to use standard screws, making installation across X4F variants straightforward while retaining robustness against deformation.

Manufactured in Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium with a black anodised finish, this part suits scale racing applications where a lower centre of gravity, consistent geometry, and quick gear mesh changes are important.

This is a direct replacement for X4F models that need a low motor position, integrated layshaft support, and top-access gear mesh adjustment to refine handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It fits X4F variants that retain the original motor and layshaft geometry; measure clearances if your chassis has non-standard parts or altered mounting points.
7075 T6 offers high fatigue strength; CNC machining and anodising help the mount resist wear and retain geometry under repeated race conditions compared with softer alloys.
Yes. The eccentric bulkhead insert allows repeatable mesh changes from above so you can refine contact patterns quickly between runs.
No, the lower holes are countersunk for common screw types, aiding compatibility with standard X4F hardware and removing the need for special fasteners.
By improving top deck alignment and lowering the motor, the mount promotes steadier chassis flex and more predictable handling as you adjust setup settings.
