Upgraded Chassis Plate for XB8 2026

Designed as a replacement for the XB8 2026 platform, this chassis plate is CNC-machined from 3mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium. Its footprint allows a split radio box and fixed mounting for the steering servo box and electronics box to maintain repeatable component positioning.

The plate features a machined pocket under the clutch bell to prevent contact under full chassis flex and to shield the pinion. Milled flex regions and weight relief pockets tune stiffness and dynamic behaviour without compromising strength. A revised rear C-holder location is used to adjust rear traction characteristics by changing local stiffness.

CNC machining is performed in low-stress areas and the surface is hard-anodized to resist wear from typical RC usage. As a chassis element it is intended to influence handling balance, traction and steering response, supporting setup and track tuning rather than adding new hardware.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Moving the rear C-holder alters local stiffness around the rear end, which can shift traction balance and steering behaviour; use it alongside ride height and damping adjustments to dial handling.
Yes. The pockets are designed to tune behaviour while retaining strength in critical areas, and the hard-anodized finish helps protect surfaces from wear.
The dedicated mounting positions for the radio, servo and electronics boxes help keep mass placement consistent, making setup changes more repeatable between runs.
After fitting, confirm clutch bell and pinion clearance and ensure all boxes and linkages clear the chassis during full flex. Recheck screw torque and alignment before track testing.
