The XRAY 302242 X4 aluminium hub is a CNC-machined, lightweight steering block made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and finished with black anodizing. It is a direct replacement for the standard composite hubs and is intended specifically for 1:10 scale X4 series cars used in high-grip track conditions.
Alloy steering blocks cut down on the flex that composite parts can exhibit, improving steering predictability and allowing finer setup tweaks that remain consistent lap after lap. This makes the hub suitable for controlled classes and tight competition.
The part is designed for universal corner use, with matching extensions fitted where required. Full axle-height adjustability gives you a wider tuning window to suit different grip levels. Carbon front plates and rear ARS plates bolt to the hub according to wheelbase placement.
Note: because the aluminium hub sits lower than the kit composite hub, add 2.0mm of additional shimming to restore the original upper arm height above the hub when swapping parts.
A practical upgrade for X4 series drivers aiming to reduce steering compliance and maintain repeatable axle-height settings on grippy tracks.
