Improve rear control on the XRAY X4

Upgrade the rear shock mounting on your XRAY X4 with this aluminium holder designed for increased control and setup flexibility. The part is machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium to provide a stiff yet light rear mounting point.

Adjustable geometry for handling balance

Use shims to alter the shock angle and tune how the car enters and exits corners. Lowering the shock by 3mm reduces the centre of gravity, improving corner speed and helping to minimise traction roll on higher grip tracks.

Fixed mount or pivoting option

The holder can be used in a fixed orientation or switched to an active pivot by removing the M3x8 screw. The pivoting setup softens rear damping, which enhances rotation and off-power steering when grip levels are strong.

Built to race and fit

Made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and finished with black anodising for durability, the pair of holders are made to mount cleanly to the XRAY X4 rear chassis and withstand race use.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The holder changes the lower shock pivot but does not directly alter suspension arms, so camber and toe settings remain governed by your standard geometry choices.
Start with small shim increments to move the shock angle; more forward tilt tightens entry while rearward tilt can increase rotation. Test on practice laps to find the best balance for surface grip.
Pivot mode generally increases rotation and is most useful on grippy surfaces; on slippery tracks you may prefer the fixed mode to keep the rear more predictable.
