Precision 7075 T6 Aluminium Motor Mount for XRAY T4

The XRAY 303055-O T4 Aluminum Motor Mount is manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and anodised in orange for both protection and visibility. It forms part of the left layshaft bulkhead assembly and fastens to the chassis with two screws beneath the layshaft. The forward motor support increases stability while allowing deliberate adjustments to chassis flex for improved corner entry and exit.

Robust Fastening and Flexible Tuning Options

The mount employs a plate attached by a button-head screw that reduces susceptibility to tweak compared to standard countersunk fittings. Mounting uses an M3 nut on the chassis, with the option to add a countersunk screw for greater rigidity. The design supports removing front or rear top deck screws to alter chassis compliance, enabling setup adaptability across different circuits.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Compare the motor mounting holes and left layshaft bulkhead layout with the XRAY T4 reference; the mount is designed around the standard T4 geometry.
Yes, adding the optional countersunk screw and ensuring the M3 nut is tight will increase stiffness for a firmer chassis feel.
Periodically inspect the plate, button-head screw and M3 nut for wear and ensure fasteners remain torqued to prevent play.
The anodised finish helps resist corrosion and makes it easier to spot faults or movement during post-run inspections.
When altering chassis compliance, consider small adjustments to shocks and anti-roll bars to rebalance the car for the new flex characteristics.
