Centreline Alloy Motor Mount for XRAY T4f'21

Designed for the T4F 2021 chassis, the XRAY 303761 Aluminum Motor Mount is machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and finished with black anodising, delivering a compact, durable component for touring car builds.

Motor Placement for Improved Balance

The mount keeps the motor on the chassis centre line to aid balance and predictable handling. The motor sits forward of the layshaft, which is held on a pressed-in steel axle to ensure dependable alignment under load.

Straightforward Fitting and Flex Control

It secures with four screws - three at the front and one behind the layshaft axis - enabling quick installation and simple flex adjustments by changing screw positions. The layout also allows for battery backstop fittings where required.

Sturdy Build for Track Use

Resistant to bending in collisions, this aluminium mount helps preserve drivetrain geometry through hard laps. Its robust material and accurate machining make it a practical upgrade for club and competitive racers.

Aluminium tends to resist deformation better than many plastics, so the XRAY 303761 can offer improved resistance to bending. Regular inspection is still recommended after impacts.
Yes, the mount's compatibility with battery backstop setups allows flexibility in battery positioning, but always verify clearances for your specific pack and holder design.
After fitting, confirm screw torque, check layshaft alignment and run the drivetrain by hand to detect binding. Recheck after the first few runs and after any heavy impacts.
