XRAY X4 ECS 58mm Drive Shaft Upgrade for Better Control

The XRAY 305316 X4 ECS Bb Drive Shaft 58mm Hudy Spring Steel (2) replaces ordinary blade driveshafts with a bearing-equipped solution to improve driveline behaviour. The Hudy spring steel construction keeps strength while delivering more consistent feedback.

Benefits of the Ball-Bearing Setup

The ECS BB design reduces resistance where the driveshaft meets the outdrive, allowing the drivetrain to turn with less loss. This promotes cleaner corner entry and quicker, more predictable changes of direction on technical sections.

Maintain for Reliable Performance

Maintenance is minimal but important. Assemble like standard ECS parts and apply Hudy Joint Grease (106213) between the small bearings and the outdrives to lower wear and preserve smooth operation over time.
