The XRAY 305928 narrow pinion gear provides a lightweight drivetrain upgrade aimed at improving rotational response. Built from aircraft-grade duraluminum, this pinion is 1.5mm narrower and roughly 25% lighter than standard pinions, cutting rotating inertia while keeping structural integrity.

Engineered production for tight tolerances

Manufactured using XRAY's specially adapted precision gear machines, the pinions are produced to tight tolerances to deliver strong concentricity. Tooth edges are chamfered and the gears undergo a running-in process. The hardcoat treatment prolongs life by increasing surface hardness.

Works with spur gears to lower chatter

This narrow pinion pairs well with most spur gears and is especially matched to XRAY spur gear profiles. The reduced width helps diminish throttle on/off noise for smoother, quieter operation on track or road.
