Produced on a specially modified precision gear machine, the XRAY 305970 is held to exacting tolerances to ensure outstanding concentricity. This attention to detail reduces runout and helps keep engagement smooth under load.

Chamfered Edges and Hard-Coated Protection

Following machining, each pinion is chamfered then finished with a hard-coat to shield the tooth surfaces. The treatment preserves the gear profile and diminishes wear from repeated spur contact.

Optimised for Spur Gear Interaction

The narrow tooth profile works well with a broad range of spur gears and helps reduce throttle on/off clatter, especially when matched with XRAY spur gears for the best balance of quiet running and precise engagement.
