Machining Quality and Surface Treatment

Manufactured on a specially modified precision gear cutter, the pinion holds tight tolerances and excellent concentricity. Each item is chamfered post-machining, given a run-in to stabilise contact patterns, and finished with a hardcoat to increase surface hardness and longevity.

Interchangeability and Reduced Noise

The XRAY narrow pinion pairs with most spur gears and works especially well with XRAY spurs, which can help lower throttle on/off noise and produce a smoother drive immediately after installation.
