Slim Pinion for Reduced Rotational Mass

The XRAY 305977 Narrow Pinion Gear is crafted from aircraft duraluminum to offer a compact, lightweight pinion for performance-focused RC cars. It is 1.5mm thinner and around 25% lighter than conventional pinions, cutting rotating mass to aid acceleration and efficiency.

High-Precision Cutting and Protective Finish

Produced using XRAY's specially-modified precision gear machine, this pinion is made to very tight tolerances to ensure excellent concentricity. Edges are chamfered and the piece is hard-coated to resist wear and preserve its geometry over time.

Designed to Mesh Quietly with Spurs

Optimised for seamless interaction with spur gears, the narrow profile pairs particularly well with XRAY spur gear options to minimise throttle on/off noise and deliver a smoother power transfer. It is ready to fit straight from the box.
