The XRAY 305987 Narrow Pinion Gear is crafted from aircraft duraluminum to lower rotating weight while retaining strength. It achieves around a 25% weight reduction over standard pinions and its narrow 1.5mm slimmer profile helps reduce rotational drag for crisper acceleration.

Craftsmanship and Surface Hardening

Produced on a specially adapted gear machine, every pinion is made to tight tolerances for excellent concentricity. Chamfered edges, a run-in period, and a hardcoat finish are applied to extend life and preserve smooth, low-noise operation when used with XRAY spur gears.

Compatibility, Setup and Handling
