Engineered XRAY 305996 Narrow Pinion

Serious RC drivers will note the XRAY 305996 Narrow Pinion Gear is made from special aircraft duraluminium to balance strength and lightness. This 46T/64 pinion is 1.5mm narrower and approximately 25% lighter than many conventional pinions, cutting rotating weight on the motor end.

Quality Machining and Coating Process

Manufactured on XRAY's specially modified precision gear machine, each pinion is machined to exact tolerances with chamfered teeth. A dedicated hardcoat treatment increases surface resilience and helps maintain low noise levels when paired with XRAY spur gears.

General Fitment Advice

The XRAY 305996 Narrow Pinion Gear works with a wide range of 1/10 scale set ups and provides smoother throttle engagement due to its reduced profile. Confirm pinion height and mesh for best longevity and quieter operation.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
After installation verify pinion height, gear mesh and that set screws are secure. Recheck after a short run to confirm nothing has shifted.
The hardcoat improves surface durability but you should still set mesh carefully; excessive shaving could remove coating at the contact surfaces.
It is compatible with many 1/10 scale drivetrains, though you should monitor wear closely on high torque or heavily modified power systems.
