Hobbyists wanting improved damping precision can use the XRAY 308092 T4 foam inserts in their Super Low Profile shocks. The low-profile foams sit between the shock upper mount and the rubber membrane to alter rebound characteristics and help stabilise handling. They are designed for use with #308082 Shock Membranes to ensure correct compatibility.

These inserts allow for finer rebound adjustments, which can translate to more consistent lap times and steadier behaviour over bumps. Their slim form factor matches SLP shock internals so they do not interfere with normal shock travel while improving control.

Compatibility, Fitting and Contents

Intended exclusively for XRAY Super Low Profile shocks, these inserts require #308082 Shock Membranes for proper use. Fitting is straightforward and non-destructive. The pack includes four inserts so you can fit all corners of a car.

Will these inserts work with touring and pan car shocks?

They are specifically cut for XRAY Super Low Profile shocks and are not intended for general touring or pan car shocks unless those shocks match the SLP dimensions and use #308082 membranes.

Usually no piston or shim changes are needed; these inserts adjust rebound behaviour on their own, but you may tune pistons and oil in combination for finer results.
