Competition-Grade Aluminium Chassis for the XRAY XB2

The XRAY 321104 XB2 Aluminum Chassis is intended for competitors seeking consistent handling across race weekends. Manufactured from 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the chassis delivers a considered mix of rigidity and controlled flex to stabilise the car during aggressive driving.

Alloy Strength and Machining Consistency

CNC machining provides repeatable accuracy and stable mounting surfaces. Swiss 7075 T6 is chosen for its high strength while keeping weight down. The chassis design uses defined flex areas to reduce roll and help with rotation, and XRAY's black robotic finish adds surface protection without notable weight gain.

Engineered Geometry for Predictable Balance

The dimensions are tuned to assist even weight distribution and predictable steering behaviour. This layout supports racers aiming for fine adjustments in handling balance. Small longitudinal bending from the fabrication process is expected and does not impair track performance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Best results are achieved on consistent, flat on-road tracks like tarmac or carpet where the chassis flex behaviour can be exploited for improved lap times.
No stripping is required. The black coating is protective and safe to use straight from the box; it is not heavy enough to affect handling.
Expect slight changes in balance; adjust roll centres, triplex or shock settings and tyre choice to match the chassis flex and find the best handling window.
Yes, it is compatible with common XB2 upgrade parts. Ensure clearances for low-profile electronics and check screw lengths when combining multiple upgrades.
Minor bend can be corrected with light clamping between flat plates or using a jig during assembly. Avoid excessive force to keep designed flex characteristics intact.
