Fine Gear Cutting for Smooth Engagement

Manufactured on specialist gear machinery, this pinion features tightly controlled tooth geometry that promotes quiet, smooth meshing and helps limit premature wear. The precise internal thread ensures straightforward fitting to XCA clutchbells, whether you use standard or lightweight versions.

Visible Tooth Marking and Ratio Flexibility

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is compatible with XCA clutchbells that use the same internal thread standard. Check your clutchbell thread pitch before fitting to confirm compatibility.
After fitting, rotate the drivetrain and inspect contact with a dab of paint or a strip of paper to ensure even tooth contact and the correct backlash setting.
Monitor wear and replace the pinion if you observe tooth rounding or unusual noise. Keeping the gearset clean and well lubricated will extend life between replacements.
