The XRAY 345001 Front One-Way Set is crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and finished with a hardcoat to help resist wear in 1/10 touring applications. The machined one-way aids controlled power delivery and consistent handling under race conditions.

Bearing quality and maintenance reminders

The assembly uses high grade German one-way bearings that are factory-pressed and hand-ground to strict tolerances for reliable engagement. To keep them running well, clean and lightly oil with recommended lubricants such as #106231 HUDY One-way Lube. These bearings are not intended to be replaced separately, so preventative care is important.

CNC outdrive adapters optimised for lower mass

This set also contains CNC-machined diff outdrive adapters made from HUDY Spring Steel. Each adapter is precision finished to reduce friction and fitted accuracy. They are engineered to be around 25% lighter than conventional adapters, cutting rotating mass while maintaining necessary strength for standard racing use.

How frequently should I inspect the one-way unit?

Inspect the unit after heavy race meetings or if you notice changes in engagement. Cleaning and a light application of HUDY One-way Lube #106231 after inspection will help prevent wear.

Is it possible to replace worn bearings?

The one-way bearings are pressed into the assembly and not designed for removal. If bearings wear, the recommended action is to replace the one-way assembly to restore correct function.

Will the lighter adapters change setup balance?

Reducing adapter weight lowers rotating inertia, which can subtly affect acceleration and front-end response. The adapters are designed to retain strength, so setup adjustments are minor for most drivers.
