Precision front bracing with XRAY 346117

The XRAY 346117 Graphite Front Upper Brace is engineered to improve front chassis control on RX8E 2023 cars. Fabricated from 2.2 mm carbon graphite, it delivers a predictable increase in stiffness useful when fine tuning front-end balance.

CNC accuracy for steady geometry

CNC machining guarantees repeatable fitment and alignment. The additional screw hole on the bulkhead side provides localized reinforcement, helping to stabilise steering inputs and keep suspension geometry consistent lap after lap.

Specifications

  • Material: Carbon Graphite
  • Thickness: 2.2 mm
  • Compatibility: RX8E 2023 Series

A suitable choice for tuners and racers focused on precise handling, the XRAY 346117 makes small setup changes more effective by reducing unwanted front flex.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
At 2.2 mm the brace adds noticeable stiffness without a big weight penalty. Thicker braces increase stiffness further but can upset balance, so 2.2 mm is a common compromise for track use.
This part is designed for the RX8E 2023 series. Older chassis revisions may require checks for hole alignment or minor modifications; confirm fitment before installing on non-2023 models.
Use moderate torque to secure the brace, avoiding overtightening which can crack carbon. Follow XRAY kit torque guidelines where available and recheck after initial runs.
On high-grip tracks the added front stiffness tends to sharpen steering. You may need to soften front suspension or adjust anti-roll distribution to retain neutral handling.
Keep the brace free of grit and check screw holes for wear. Clean with a soft cloth and mild cleaner and inspect after heavy impacts for hairline damage.
