Precision Front Tuning with XRAY 348188 Springs

For accurate front suspension setup, the XRAY 348188 Progressive Front Shock Springs C=7-9 provide a stepped compression characteristic that refines steering feel and curbs excessive roll during cornering. They are aimed at drivers who refine balance for lap consistency.

How the Progressive Curve Affects Handling

The C=7-9 progression means the spring behaves like a softer C=7 at initial travel and firms toward C=9 under heavier compression. This trait helps the car rotate cleanly into a corner and then resist over-compression as the load increases.

Consistent Matching and Simple Labelling

Each set includes two springs that are measured and matched to ensure similar performance between left and right. Laser-etched markings on the top coil let you verify the rate quickly when swapping springs during setup work.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No special shocks are needed, but they are matched to XRAY shock assemblies. They will work with other shocks that accept the same spring size and retainers.
You may need to adjust oil viscosity or pistons to complement the progressive spring action, since spring behaviour and damping together determine shock response.
Measure free length and compare the laser-etched rate marks; matched pairs should have identical markings and near-equal free lengths for balanced handling.
