High-Precision XRAY XT8 Chassis for Improved Handling

The XRAY 351120 XT8 chassis is precision CNC machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and hardcoated to protect the surface. The 3mm construction trims excess material in low-load areas to achieve a lightweight foundation that keeps mass low under the engine, tank and differentials for steadier handling.

Balanced Layout for Racing Use

Central placement of major components produces even side-to-side balance, aiding traction and steering consistency. Countersunk screws leave the underside free of protrusions that could catch on track obstacles or disturb airflow.

Manufacturing Notes and Durability

Hardcoating is applied in an automated facility for consistent results. Small fissures can appear around edges and openings from coating tension; these are cosmetic and do not reduce the chassis strength or service life.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No special hardware is required; standard XT8 mounting screws and fittings are used for installation.
Minor cosmetic edges can be lightly finished by hand if desired, but these coating marks are not structural and do not need repair.
Aluminium offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio and helps lower the car's centre of gravity, which benefits handling compared with heavier steel plates.
The hardcoat resists abrasion but will show normal wear over many runs; it protects the alloy and slows visible wear rather than eliminating it completely.
Yes. Its low weight, centralised mass and durable finish make it a practical choice for serious vintage XT8 competition use.
