In most cases the XRAY 353040 is a direct-fit upgrade for compatible 1/8 GT chassis, but always check mounting hole alignment and screw lengths before installation.
Basic hand tools such as hex drivers and a torque driver for the correct screw tightness are normally sufficient. Work carefully to avoid over-torquing the graphite.
Make incremental changes and test on track; small moves to shock mounts can noticeably change balance, so keep notes and revert if the handling worsens.
