Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
In most cases it installs directly when paired with the corresponding #355609 rebuildable assembly, but checking spline engagement and retaining hardware is advised prior to running.
Clean debris from splines and apply light spline lubricant after heavy use. Inspect for bends or excessive wear following impacts.
Compared with older stock shafts, Hudy Spring Steel provides improved fatigue resistance and tighter manufacturing tolerances, which helps reduce driveline variability.
Slight reductions in rotating mass can improve transient response, but overall handling change is modest; alignment and suspension setup remain the primary factors.
