How small of a battery can I use?

The tray accepts standard and short packs. If you plan to use unusually small cells, check that the pack sits securely and that strap routing will hold it firmly in place.

Will moving the battery alter understeer or oversteer?

Yes. Shifting the battery forward tends to increase front grip and reduce understeer, while moving it rearward shifts balance rearwards and can reduce front traction. Make minor changes and test accordingly.

Any tips for repeatable setup changes?

Mark the reference position on the chassis, record exact measurements for each setting, and change one variable at a time so you can clearly see the handling effects.

Does this affect electronics cooling?

Moving the battery can change airflow around the ESC and receiver. After repositioning, verify there is adequate ventilation and that wires are routed safely to avoid heat buildup.
