Precision front big-bore shocks built for XB808

The XRAY 358103 - XB808 Big-Bore Front Shock Absorbers Kit supplies a full front shock solution made for the XB808 chassis. The set contains the components needed to assemble two front shocks and includes soft folding rubber boots for protection.

Construction that aids setup

Featuring an 18.5mm outer diameter, the externally threaded bodies come with adjustable collars to refine downstop settings. Hard-coated bodies are fitted with one-piece aluminium shock caps to improve strength. A consistent 15.3mm inner bore supports smooth oil movement and round composite pistons deliver even damping.

Damping stability and sealing

Wider shock membranes with enhanced materials help preserve damping behaviour over time. The lower assembly is designed to limit oil leakage while permitting free shock rod travel, using silicone O-rings and composite shims secured by a lower aluminium cap.

Engineered for demanding use

Shock shafts are precision machined from high-tensile steel at 3.5mm diameter to handle heavy impacts and keep motion smooth. The aluminium lower cap includes a groove to retain the rubber boot for quick service access.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are made for the XB808. Adapting them to other models is possible if the shock mounts and travel are compatible, or if you fit alternative towers to match geometry.
A larger bore improves oil flow and damping consistency, reducing fade over multiple runs and improving front-end feedback during technical sections.
Inspect shafts for bends, check O-rings and boot condition, and examine caps and lower assemblies for deformation. Replace seals or oil as needed to restore correct damping.
