Refine XB8 Handling with XRAY 358111 Front Shocks

The XRAY 358111 XB8 Front Shock Absorbers Set provides a broad tuning range and durable construction for racers refining front grip and steering balance. These shocks are suited for demanding track environments.

Flexible Cap and Seal Choices

Supplied 44.5mm shocks include a 3-in-1 cap with four bleed holes and three seal options: ribbed membrane, cell membrane or O-ring. The different seals let you shape damping response to suit corner entry and mid-corner behaviour.

Multiple Shock Assembly Styles

Available assembly methods are emulsion, rebound and zero rebound, each affecting how the chassis reacts to load shifts and surface transitions. Pick the style that best complements your chassis setup.

Hard-Coated Big-Bore Shock Bodies

The externally threaded 16.2mm I.D. bodies are hard-coated in a titanium colour to resist wear. An adjustable collar allows quick spring preload adjustments for consistent setup changes.

Locking Lower Joint for Durability

The lower shock ball joint has a lock extension that fits into the lower collar to minimise retainer separation in impacts and to keep the spring properly located.

Yes, the shock design uses common serviceable parts such as seals, pistons and collars; routine maintenance and seal replacement will keep them performing well.
On low-grip tracks emulsion or softer seal choices can help provide more initial compliance and better traction through corners, but test to find the right balance.
Inspect seals and shafts after every few race days or after heavy runs; regular inspection reduces the chance of performance loss from worn components.
