Precision Rear Shock Package for the XB808

The XRAY 358202 - XB808 Rear Shock Absorbers Complete Set contains the components needed to assemble two large-bore rear shocks purpose-built for the XRAY XB808. The set prioritises build quality and steady damping to help maintain consistent handling.

Threaded Aluminium Big-Bore Bodies

The 18.5mm diameter bodies are externally threaded to simplify adjustment of spring preload and ride height. Hardcoated aluminium construction with a one-piece cap provides strength, and the 15.3mm inner bore ensures controlled oil flow for smooth piston operation.

Composite Pistons and Stable Membranes

Pistons made from a specialist composite material deliver low friction and improved durability, manufactured to exact roundness for accurate travel. The upgraded membranes help retain damping performance across long runs and rough conditions.

Serviceable Lower End with Dust Protection

The lower assembly is built to limit oil loss and stop dirt ingress, using quality silicone O-rings and composite shims for free rod movement and reliable sealing. The aluminium lower cap eases maintenance and includes internal dust foam for added protection.

Hardened Shafts for Consistent Movement

3.5mm high-tensile steel shock shafts are ground to a smooth finish to reduce friction and resist deformation. Together with the big-bore bodies, they help the suspension absorb jumps and rough surfaces while maintaining consistent travel.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They offer a larger oil volume and refined components which can improve damping stability. Actual handling changes depend on setup and tuning choices made during installation.
Ensure O-rings are seated correctly, check for nicked shafts, and use the correct seal sizes during reassembly. Regular inspection and clean assembly techniques reduce leak risk.
Basic shock tools and a clean workspace are sufficient for routine servicing. Use quality syringes for oil and proper shock pliers to avoid damage during assembly.
