Engineered Rear Shocks for XB8 Control

The XRAY 358211 XB8 Rear Shock Absorbers are engineered to give reliable rear stability across varied surfaces. This 55mm set is supplied as a full rear package to help drivers dial in consistent handling lap after lap.

Multi-Mode Cap for Fine Tuning

The shocks incorporate a multi-adjustable 3-in-1 shock cap with 4 bleed holes and three sealing alternatives: ribbed membrane, cell membrane, or O-ring. These settings provide options for emulsion, rebound, or zero rebound configurations to suit grip and track layout.

Oversized Bodies with Secure Lower Lock

Featuring 16.2mm I.D. big-bore bodies that are externally threaded, the shocks use an adjustable collar for quick preload tuning. The lower ball joint includes a lock extension that engages the lower collar to reduce the chance of spring displacement during hard impacts. The hard-coated titanium finish increases surface durability while keeping a neat appearance.

Each seal alters how oil bypasses the cap, changing mid and high speed damping. Experiment with the ribbed or cell membranes or the O-ring to find the balance you need between traction and response.

Is there a recommended service routine for these shocks?

Clean the shafts and inspect seals after every event and change oil based on performance loss or contamination. Regular servicing prevents wear and keeps damping predictable.

Will the lock extension stop spring walk completely?

The lock extension reduces spring displacement by anchoring to the lower collar, but correct spring selection and proper preload are also important to prevent walk under heavy impacts.

Can these shocks be used with updated shock towers?

They are designed for XB8 rear mounting geometry, so they work with compatible shock towers. Verify clearance and ball sizes when fitting aftermarket towers.
