Precision XRAY 358225 Rear Shock Bodies for XB8

Engineered for use on XB8 cars, the XRAY 358225 Aluminum Rear Shock Body improves suspension control under demanding conditions. Crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 and finished with a protective hardcoat, these parts support reliable setup and consistent performance.

Extended Length and Big-Bore Sizing

The 2mm longer construction increases shock efficiency on rough ground. With an outer diameter of 18.5mm and inner diameter of 16.0mm, these big-bore bodies are optimised for improved damping and stability. External fine threads make adjusting spring preload quick and precise.

Precision Production and Protective Finish

Manufactured using high-accuracy German CNC machines to ensure consistent quality, each unit receives XRAY's robotic hardcoating for a titanium-coloured, wear-resistant finish that also enhances appearance.

They are designed to match common big-bore shock internals used on XB8 models, but verify piston diameter and seal dimensions against your current parts before assembly.
The hardcoat increases surface hardness, which generally reduces abrasive wear on seals. Maintain proper shock oil and service intervals to maximise life.
Expect a slightly different damping feel due to the larger bore and extra length. You may need to adjust spring rates, oil viscosity or preload to return to your preferred handling balance.
