Accurate Rear Shock Bodies Tailored for XRAY XB8

These CNC-machined aluminium rear shock bodies are produced for the XRAY XB8 and use premium 7075 T6 aluminium to combine toughness with manageable weight. They are intended to improve consistency of suspension behaviour under race conditions.

Controlled Air Volume with Body-Mounted Membrane

Mounting the ribbed shock membrane onto the shock body rather than the upper cap helps excess oil evacuate cleanly. Paired with the vent hole and cap adjustment screw, this layout makes it straightforward to manage air rebound and reach a precise zero rebound setting.

Threaded Collar and Oversized Bore Design

The big-bore construction features an 18.5mm outer diameter and external threads for an adjustable collar, so spring preload can be adjusted quickly. The titanium-style coating protects the finish and complements a tuned race setup.

Verify outer diameter and mounting interfaces against your existing shock caps and pistons; these are specified for the XB8 with an 18.5mm outer diameter.
While they do not add travel, improved rebound control and correct preload can make the chassis more responsive and reduce the tendency to harshly bottom out.
Regular inspection for burrs, cleaning of oil passages, and light lubrication on threads will keep the bodies functioning well and extend service life.
