Optimise rear handling with long progressive springs

XRAY 358279 Long Progressive Springs offer a practical rear tuning option for racers wanting a smoother initial response and added support later in travel. These springs use a soft-to-medium progressive profile, are marked with two stripes, and fit the rear of XB808 and XB9 cars to help control cornering behaviour.

Designed to change rate as load increases

These springs have a more progressive rate than standard XRAY racing springs, developed from real racing input. The softer initial section helps the tyres bite at turn-in and then the rate ramps up to resist further compression, supporting higher corner speed. Each spring is measured and matched during production to ensure consistent damping across pairs.

Consistent matching for reliable setup repeatability

Each unit is compressed incrementally and its values logged so matched pairs deliver consistent characteristics. That careful matching reduces setup variability and helps you replicate suspension settings across meetings.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These springs are specified for rear fitment on the XRAY XB808 and XRAY XB9 models.
Start with stock shock oil and pistons, then adjust oil viscosity and piston type to control midstroke and endstroke feel to suit the progressive curve.
The springs are marked with two stripes to denote the soft-to-medium progressive rate for quick identification during setup.
