Centre differential and motor mount for split layout

The XRAY 358787 aluminium centre differential and motor mount assembly is engineered for the split differential mount layout employed on compatible GTXE 2027 chassis. By separating the motor mount from the adjacent structure the centre differential can be accessed directly, cutting down disassembly when performing setup changes or inspections.

The motor mount incorporates an updated interface and a dedicated holder that work together to bolster drivetrain support under load and to preserve alignment between the motor pinion and the spur gear. This helps retain consistent drivetrain geometry when altering gear mesh or replacing components for tuning.

The full assembly is CNC machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium to achieve rigidity and precise dimensions. The chosen material and machining method aim to ensure long-term stability without the addition of extra moving parts or inserts.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The part is supplied for compatibility with the GTXE 2027 chassis layout as stated in the specifications and will match the split motor mount configuration used on that chassis.
By increasing mounting stiffness and supporting the motor more securely, the mount reduces movement that can upset motor pinion to spur gear alignment, helping setups remain repeatable while adjusting mesh and components.
Aluminium requires the same basic care as other metal parts: ensure correct fastener torque, inspect for wear during servicing, and replace if obvious deformation or thread damage appears.
The upgrade is intended to preserve alignment and simplify access; it does not replace standard setup checks. Continue to verify gear mesh and alignment during the first runs post-installation.
No additional modifications are usually required for GTXE 2027 configurations. Install the assembly following chassis guidance and confirm alignment and fastener torque as part of the assembly routine.
