Precision Diff Oil XRAY 359307 7000 cSt

Targeted at racers and seasoned builders, the XRAY 359307 High-Performance Silicone Oil 7000 cSt is blended for repeatable diff characteristics. Made in Europe by a specialist producer, the product aims to reduce batch variation and help drivers keep setups stable across meetings. The 7000 cSt viscosity is chosen for controlled locking and smooth transitions under power.

Range and Application Notes

XRAY offers viscosities spanning from very light to heavy, allowing precise adjustment of both shock and differential behaviour. The 7000 cSt grade is classed as medium-thick and is commonly used where moderate diff locking is required. Each bottle is marked and colour-coded to simplify selection during rebuilds.

Practical Design for Workshop Use

The square bottle and narrow dispensing tip are intended to minimise mess and deliver measured drops, while the secure screw cap helps prevent leaks. A built-in clear panel on the rear shows remaining fluid so you can plan purchases and avoid running out before an event.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Expect firmer diff coupling and more predictable corner exit; cars may understeer slightly compared to lighter diff oils.
Mixing oils can fine tune performance, but make small incremental changes and test thoroughly to understand the combined effect.
It is compatible with most gearbox seals, but inspect seals and components regularly and replace any aged parts to prevent leaks.
Use a suitable parts cleaner or solvent, dry components fully, and remove any old oil residue to ensure accurate new oil performance.
For shocks, many drivers prefer thinner oils for better compliance; consider a lighter viscosity than 7000 cSt if you need more suspension movement.
