Sharpen XB Steering with the XRAY 362242 C-Hub

The XRAY 362242 Aluminium C-Hub is CNC machined from Swiss 7075 T6 to strengthen the left hub area and deliver crisper steering for vintage XB series cars kept on competitive setups.

Designed for Grippy Tracks

Ideal for circuits with high traction, this C-hub improves steering response and helps maintain stability through corner entry and exit for more consistent lap times.

Simple Shim-Based Setup

Adjusting the roll centre is straightforward by inserting shims between the caster block and the vertical ball stud, enabling rapid setup changes without stripping the front end. The large openings also simplify CVD access during repairs.

Built to Withstand Racing Wear

Robust aluminium construction reduces the chance of hub damage in impacts and the roomy cutouts prevent CVD contact, which helps extend component life under race conditions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It serves as a direct fit for many older XB series revisions. Always cross check part numbers and chassis revision before ordering to ensure a direct swap.
The hub itself does not change static camber settings, but altering roll centre with shims can change dynamic camber behaviour through turns.
After fitting, rotate the front assembly by hand to check there is no contact between the CVD and hub. Adjust shim stacks or move the ball stud slightly if you detect binding.
Check the hub for dents or cracks, verify CVD clearance, and ensure all bolts remain tight. Replace any deformed parts before returning to racing.
